Chiranjeevi's path-breaking film Abhilasha completed 30 years on March 11th, 2013. The film which is based on famous writer Yandamuri Veerendranath's novel was directed by Kodanda Ramireddy and produced by KS Rama Rao.
On Tuesday, the team of Abhilasha reached Delhi to celebrate the 30 years milestone with the one and only Megastar. Post the cake cutting by Chiru, the team shared their happiness with the mediapersons.
KS Rama Rao went ahead and revealed he may even remake Abhilasha. 'During a recent conversation, actor Gollapudi Maruthi Rao garu suggested the idea of remaking Abhilasha by adapting it to suit the present day sensibilities. I told him if he could convince Chiranjeevi, then I'm ready to produce it,' revealed the producer, in the pressmeet.
When few mediapersons enquired if he is serious about the remake, KS Rama Rao commented, 'Why not? Any way, I have a project lined-up with Ram Charan. If possible, I will try to cast him in the remake'.
